Rwanda Gorilla Trekking and Serengeti Wildlife Safari

Rwanda Gorilla Trekking and Serengeti Wildlife Safari — An Exceptional East African Journey Introduction: Rwanda […]

My experience with Freka African Holidays was excellent from start to finish. Emily was very responsive, supportive and flexible in helping me design my itinerary. She made sure the itinerary included everything I wanted, including the activities and accommodations of my choice. At first I was unsure about sending the deposit funds up front, but it is needed to secure the gorilla trekking permit, and she sent me a photo of the permit upon receiving it. Everything was arranged very well in advance and went smoothly. I did a six-day trip including gorilla and chimpanzee trekking, a day of relaxation on Lake Bunyonyi and two nights in Queen Elizabeth National Park. My guide Apollo was absolutely top notch, very knowledgeable about wildlife, a good driver, friendly and kind, and so committed to making sure I enjoyed the experience to the fullest. He went well above and beyond to make sure I had everything I needed, far exceeding my hopes or expectations. When Apollo sadly had to leave for an unexpected family emergency, Innocent jumped right in and took over, and was also a wonderful guide. It was an absolute pleasure traveling with both of them and the experiences I had were once-in-a-lifetime incredible, truly making my dreams come true. Freka’s prices were less than all other competing agencies, and I can’t imagine getting more personalized service or better care than I got. I am so glad I chose Freka African Holidays and I will absolutely use them again if I’m lucky enough to return to Uganda!

The communication was great from the beginning to end. I am very impressed with the care the gorilla habitats and the gorillas are given. I love the fact that they are completely unbothered by human activity since so much care is placed into their well being. It was truly a dream come true to get to experience something like this. I booked a luxury tour and both of our luxury accommodations were great. I was really impressed with the level of service at the 4gorilla Lounge. Our vehicle was unreliable….. there was leaking break fluid, flat tire, seat belts didn’t work, and there was no AC. It would have been nice to be able to close the windows especially during the long drives on dirt roads. Our drive was longer than usual because a bridge collapsed, but it was still an interesting experience. Our driver Even brought my tripod I forgot in his vehicle the next day to our hotel- very kind of him. The only thing I would change is to maybe include a little bit more of educational information, while on the tour about Uganda’s history, way of life, and customs, and to potentially upgrades the vehicle.

Went on a gorilla trek in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest with Freka. Was such a special trip! Freka was professional, responsive, reliable, and fair. Our guide, Jared, was very kind and helpful. The accommodation was fine for the price (we chose the budget option) and everything ran smoothly. I recommend this outfit to anyone looking for an affordable, spectacular mountain gorilla trek.

We had a fantastic trip with Freka to go gorilla trekking. Our guide Farouk was lovely and very knowledgeable. The Lodge in the mountains for the night before the gorilla trek was lovely, with stunning views across the valley to bwindi forest, and the food was amazing. The highlight of the gorilla trekking was an awe-inspiring experience to be so close to a group of wild gorillas. We would recommend it to anyone!

Amazing Honeymoon with Freka African Holidays Amazing Honeymoon with Freka African Holidays Freka Afican Holidays is one of the best tour operators in Uganda, we booked a four days tour for our honeymoon, We visited Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park and Kibale Forest National Park with a break in the middle Lake Bunyonyi, we really enjoyed coming up close with gentle giants, the mountain gorillas, we like our accommodations from Rushaga, Lake Bunyonyi and Kibale, they were clean and had nice views too, like in Rushaga we could view the volcanos, our guide Ronald was informative and very friendly, always at service whenever we need any assistance, We highly recommend Freka African Holidays and looking forward to using them again.
